I was slightly disappointed with this book。 I mean the writing wasn’t bad， but it wasn’t dark like I was hoping。 It wasn’t enemies to lovers really。 The MMC was supposed to be dark with this icy heart and super kinky in bed but he became a big softy too fast and I’ve read way way better kink 🤷🏼♀️ it wasn’t bad， but I was left wanting more。

My first ever book by Ana and now I’m sitting and wondering， why the hell did I wait this long？From the beginning till the end I was completely and utterly engrossed in the story。 The characters were captivating and the writing was so flawless。This book is the first one in the Twisted series。 It tells the story of Alex Volkov & Ava Chen。 The book is a beautiful combination of grumpy plus sunshine romance along with a solid plot filled with unexpected twists and turns。Ava Chen was PERFECT！ One of My first ever book by Ana and now I’m sitting and wondering， why the hell did I wait this long？From the beginning till the end I was completely and utterly engrossed in the story。 The characters were captivating and the writing was so flawless。This book is the first one in the Twisted series。 It tells the story of Alex Volkov & Ava Chen。 The book is a beautiful combination of grumpy plus sunshine romance along with a solid plot filled with unexpected twists and turns。Ava Chen was PERFECT！ One of the things that annoys me the most is when a girl acts like a total doormat but Ava was far from it。 Though she was a sweet girl with a positive outlook， she is not at all weak。 She never lets anyone walk all over her， even if that person is the love of her life。 She knows her worth and is not afraid to fight for her respect。 Hats off to Ana for creating such an amazing heroine。Alex Volkov was EVERYTHING。 Smart， intelligent， cold， successful and oh so HOT！ I can’t even remember how many times I swooned。 When Ava’s brother， Josh， had to leave the country for some work he asked his best friend， Alex， to take care of his sister。 He moves next door to Ava and from there starts this epic tale。Their banter made me laugh out loud。 Their chemistry is so palpable from the very first scene and they fit together perfectly。 And the best part was the ‘grovel’。 Yes our man made mistakes but our fierce girl made him work for her forgiveness。 It was cute， it was emotional。I loved the side characters。 Ava’s brother Josh was so damn funny and I am really looking forward to his book（with Jules， I hope haha！）。 The girl gang was phenomenal。 The bond these girls share was so refreshing。 I always adore reading about such female friendships。Really excited for Bridget and her bodyguard’s story next。 I am a huge fan of bodyguard romance but I had barely found any good ones。 But I am damn sure Ana won’t disappoint。 。。。more
